South Dakota Sharptail Grouse & Pheasant (4 day)

Fully guided hunt centered in Jones County, South Dakota on family-owned ranches and Nat'l Grassland. Days will be broken up into group hunting wild pheasants with flushing dogs and hunting open country wild sharptail grouse with pointers.

Package includes
-4 full days of hunting pheasants, sharptail grouse, and prairie chicken.
-Guides with retrievers, english setters, and brittany spaniels.
-Breakfast, lunch, and dinner from the time you arrive until you leave.
-Additional snacks and beverages all day.
-Comfortable accomodations at private, area hotel.
-Transportation to and from airport and hunting grounds every day.
-Cleaning and packaging of birds.

Additional Info & Recommendations
-Hunters may hunt additional days for an additional $250/day.
-Average day temperatures range from 30o to 62 oF
-If ammunition is purchased beforehand, #4-#6 shot is recommended.

This is a wild bird hunt!  Hunters should be in decent physical condition and able to walk 3-5 miles/day.

Several dinners will be served by a family-owned cattle ranch with free-range beef steak and all the fixins' to fill you up after a day of quality hunting.

Travel Information
Guests are strongly encouraged to arrange flights into Pierre, SD.  This will maximize hunting time and decrease check-in hassles. 

Wing & Fly Co. will arrange travel for guests upon request.  Plan to arrive in Pierre, Sioux Falls, or Rapid City no later than 9 am on your arrival day.
